About
A year after starting to play Casino Craps I read a book completely devoted to dice control. The book is called "Dice Control for Casino Craps" by Yuri Kononenko. This was about the only book available at the time and covered everything it takes to control your dice throwing. Since that time several more books have been written on the subject, one good recent book is "Get the Edge on Craps" by Sharpshooter. From what I have personally experienced dice control can definitely help overcome some of the edge the house has with it's odds in the game of craps.
A little about me and my beliefs. I personally don't profess that to win at craps you need dice control alone but knowledge of it can't be all bad. I wouldn't have created this site if I had not been deeply involved in dice control to start with. Early on my winning were all based on my own throwing abilities. I practiced regularly and brought my skills to the casino, and I did win handily at the time as you very well can. Sometimes the dice control community can get to be as crazy as the pit crews that attempt to slow them down. I do hate the idea of "flying under the radar" and there is absolutely no kick in that for me. I do believe that knowing how to bet is most important factor to start with in craps and I try to stay as aggressive as possible. Dice Influencers can be consistent which is good but at the same time I can love the chicken feeders that hook up with their once in a lifetime long roll. I have made more money off them then I probably ever will from dice controllers. So my advice is to learn the good table bets (place bets) and take advantage of them when there is a good roll or when you create your own good rolls.
Along with the wave of people practicing dice control and craps there are quite of few gamblers that have taken up the poker game of Texas Hold'em. Additional information and links have been added to this site for various casino card games. Both Texas Limit Hold'em and Texas No Limit Hold'em seem to be the most popular of new card games. Poker is a game that is not against the house but where you are gambling directly in competition with other gamblers. This can be a much different skill set to develop.
The web site has gone through multiple updates on the subject of craps and cards since it's inception in 2003. If you have a question, or would like to something of particular interest posted, please e-mail me.
